 We Believe:

In the plenary, verbal inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, that they are inerrant in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life. (Matt. 4:4; 2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21)

That proper interpretation of the Bible is in its plain, dispensational sense. Dispensationalism is a system of theology characterized by a literal (plain), historical-grammatical, consistent interpretation of Scripture which, thus understood, recognizes a distinction between Israel and the church in God’s plan and recognizes the reality that God purposes to glorify Himself in all His dealings with mankind, regardless of the age or dispensation in which man lives. We reject the systems of “covenant” or “reformed” theology which spiritualizes the Biblical text, confuses the Church with Israel and fails to distinguish between law and grace. In every dispensation, salvation is obtained by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. (1 Cor. 2:10-13; 2 Tim. 2:15; 2 Pet. 1:20)

That there is one God existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory. (John 10:30; 1 John 5:7)

In the virgin birth, absolute deity, sinless Life, and atoning death of Jesus Christ as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood. (Matt. 1:20-23; Rom. 1:16; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Pet. 3:18)

In the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven where He ever Liveth as our High Priest and Advocate. (Acts 1:3-9; 1 Cor. 15:20; Heb. 4:14-16;1 John 2:1-2)

That every believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit and is able and expected to walk in the newness of the Spirit by obeying God and growing in Christlikeness. (Rom. 6:4; 8:4; Eph. 1:13; 5:18)

That the Holy Spirit bestows gifts to those who are regenerated, yet the “sign gifts” or “revelatory gifts” in the early church ceased with the completion of the canon of Scripture. (1 Cor. 13:8-10; Eph. 4:7-8; Rev. 22:18-19)

In the imminent, pre-tribulational and pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ to receive all church-age believers to Himself. (1 Cor. 15:51-58; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Titus 2:13)

In the universal church whereby all true believers are united through faith in Christ according to the truth of God’s Word and in the local church for the purpose of equipping the saints to be the church in the world. (1 Cor. 12:12-13; Eph. 2:14-17; 4:12-16)

In the personal, physical, second bodily coming of Jesus Christ to set up a literal kingdom on earth which will last 1000 years and will be followed by the eternal state and the new heavens and earth. (Rev. 19:11-16; 20:4; 21:1-22:5)

In standing against the compromise of the Charismatic and Pentecostal movements, the Emerging Church and New Evangelical movements, and the National and World Councils of Churches. (Rom. 16:17; 2 Cor. 6:14-7:1; 2 John 8-11; Jude 3-4)
